Tim Taylor’s last gasp equaliser earned Bridlington Town a 2-2 draw with Thackley in the only Toolstation NCEL Premier Division game yesterday.
Ryan Farrell and Ben Cohen had appeared to have secured the points for Thackley over Bridlington, whose first goal was scored by Andy Norfolk.
In Division One, last minute equalisers were also on the menu at Grimsby Borough where Westella VIP rescued a point.
Westella trailed twice, but Garry Flounders and Alex Wood’s late penalty secured a 2-2 stalemate. Both sides also had players sent off.
Nine man Hull United and Teversal also recorded the score-line. Eddy Birch and Phil Dobson were the players dismissed.
Struggling Rossington Main had no luck as Lee Holmes’ side were beaten 6-3 at Shirebrook Town.
In the only FA Trophy match played involving a Yorkshire side, Guiseley will have to do it all again after drawing 2-2 at Burscough.
