Glasshoughton Welfare are likely to have one brand new face and two from the past in their side for the visit of Dronfield Town tomorrow.
One of the old boys is their former captain Andy Seed and the other is Steve Bennett, the man who fired them to promotion three years ago.
Bennett, who is helping Welfare out for a few weeks as he is dual-registered with Grimethorpe, scored the two goals in the incredible 3-2 win at AFC Emley in May 2012 which propelled into the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
Imposing defender Spencer Clarke, signed from Pontefract Collieries, is expected to make his debut.
Joint manager Simon Houghton said: “We’ve trained well in the last couple of weeks. There have been over 20 players coming to every session which is fantastic.
“The attitude has been first class and while they have been fun sessions, everyone has worked really hard.
“I just can’t believe where they are in the league. We know where we need to strengthen, but we haven’t brought too many players in because we’re giving the lads who are already here a chance.
“We’re making sure that we leave no stone unturned in seeing what we already have.”
Bennett is likely replace striker Ashley Scothern, who is suspended.
