Four second half goals led Farsley Celtic to a stunning away victory at Spennymoor Town in the Evo Stik Division One North.
Farsley, who started the season slowly, are now sitting in mid-table after five consecutive league victories.
Neil Parsley’s men were in control from the start at Spennymoor, it just took time to unlock their hosts.
A foul on Nightingale saw a penalty awarded and Aaron Hardy fired home to put Farsley deservedly ahead.
Lewis Sugden’s long range strike doubled their lead before Nightingale scored arguably Farsley’s goal of the season.
The midfielder, currently in electric form, raced towards the box and spun one defender, had enough speed to beat another and then jinxed past the last one before hammering the ball into the net, completing a remarkable move.
Spennymoor’s humiliation was finished off in the late-on. Former Bradford (Park Avenue) striker Paul Walker capitalised on indecisiveness between a defender and Spennymoor’s goalkeeper by taking the ball around and scoring into the empty net.
