Yorkshire Amateur are hosting a Leeds United X1 on Thursday night

Yorkshire Amateur are to host a Leeds United X1 on Thursday night at Bracken Edge.

The Ammers, who actually sold the lease for Elland Road to Leeds in 1920 for £250, have been hit like most Yorkshire sides by the recent bad weather.

The Ammers hope to break into the Toolstation NCEL Division One play-offs when they return to action – which could be at Hull United on Saturday.

That’s why Leeds will provide an excellent test and fitness exercise for Phil Harding and Rick Addy’s players, who haven’t played since December 19th.

Kick off for the friendly is 7.00pm and the admission price is £3 for adults and £2 for concessions.
