Mitch Hamilton introduced himself to Pickering Town supporters by scoring on his debut in the 5-2 win over Nostell Miners Welfare.
Hamilton scored a simple tap-in and the decisive fourth goal after Paul Marshall’s men fought themselves back from 2-0 down.
Nostell raced out of the blocks and scored in the first and fifth minute through Guiseley academy starlets Dev Morton and Will Wells.
Pickering pulled one back before half-time – Lewis Taylor scoring.
The match was turned on its head during a four minute spell midway through the second half.
Joe Danby equalised and then Ged Dalton and Hamilton – signed from Ossett Town – put the Pikes on course for three points.
Danby added the fifth in the final few minutes.
