Former Stocksbridge Park Steels striker Mark Ward has been appointed as assistant manager to Handsworth Parramore interim boss Mick Godber.
Ward will take his seat alongside Godber for the first time during Handsworth’s Toolstation NCEL Premier Division clash with Retford United on Saturday.
The 33-year-old is well known on the semi-professional circuit from spells with Frickley Athletic, Bradford (Park Avenue), Worksop Town, Hucknall Town and Belper Town.
Ward has recently been involved with Swallownest as their manager.
