Predatory striker James Walshaw is heading to Frickley Athletic for a month and could make his debut against his former club Darlington 1883 tomorrow.
Frickley have secured the Bradford (Park Avenue) forward on loan until Saturday 13th February.
It is arguably the top signing of Karl Rose’s tenure as Frickley manager.
Walshaw has been a feared player during his career which has taken in clubs such as Ossett Town, Farsley Celtic, Darlington, Altrincham, Harrogate Town and Guiseley.
His best period was his spell with Guiseley under Steve Kittrick as his goals helped lead the Lions to the Northern Premier League title in 2010.
Avenue manager Martin Drury told the club’s official website: “James has gone out to get some much needed regular gametime.
“He will come back to us fitter and stronger and we look forward to his return.”
