New Maltby Main defender Connor White
Maltby Main have added defender Conner White to their ranks in time for the visit of Athersley Rec to Muglet Lane this evening.
White, 17, has played for the Chesterfield first team on one occasion in a pre-season friendly and has numerous reserve team games under his belt. Earlier this season he featured for Port Vale reserves whilst on trial at Vale Park.
Joint Manager Spencer Fearn stated “We are delighted that Conner has signed with us at Maltby. We have been watching his progress with interest and when he became available we didn’t hesitate in signing him.
“He is an excellent young player with great technique and has a bright future in the game.”
White is the fourth player to join Maltby in the past week.
