Bridlington Town climbed to the top of the table after winning 2-0 at title rivals Cleethorpes Town.

The victory, the icing on the cake during 12-match unbeaten run, was secured by two goals from Benn Lewis.

Worksop Town can claim top spot back on Saturday if they beat Pontefract Collieries as neither Handsworth Parramore and Bridlington have a game.

Albion Sports were seconds away from defeating Worksop, but Callum Harrison’s wonder strike deep into injury time rescued Mark Shaw’s side.

Worksop had been trailing to a early second half goal from Omar Habeeb.

In Division One, leaders Hemsworth Miners Welfare lost 2-1 at promotion rivals Bottesford Town.

Hemsworth led through Sam Jones’ goal for a long period, but Bottesford fought back and Tom Johnson and Terry Barwick scored.
