Luke Danville is now a Hemsworth Miners Welfare player
Wayne Benn has bolstered his Hemsworth Miners Welfare defence for the promotion run-in with the signing of a double promotion winner.
Centre-back Luke Danville joins from Pontefract Collieries as league leaders Hemsworth prepare to host Selby Town on Saturday.
Danville is a perfect signing for the title-chasing side as he has won promotion from Division One in each of the last two seasons, firstly captaining Shaw Lane Aquaforce to second place in 2014.
He was a late arrival to Pontefract last season, but he helped them over the finish line during the six match winning run that secured promotion.
Now Hemsworth are hoping the former Frickley and Wakefield defender can record a hat-trick of promotions with them.
