Danny Facey hit the winner for the second game running as Brighouse pulled off a hard-fought victory at Queensgate.
Facey struck with a composed finish in the first half and Brighouse managed to hold onto the solitary goal.
Struggling Scarborough had lots of possession, but never really threatened to break through the visitors. Brighouse’s James Hurtley also hit the crossbar in the second half.

Ossett Town’s crunch trip to New Mills ended in disappointment, but not because of the result.
Relegation-threatened Ossett arrived to find the referee deciding to postpone the match because of a waterlogged pitch.

Belper Town 2-1 Stocksbridge Park Steels
Stocksbridge Park Steels saw their good run of form end with the defeat at Belper.
Chris Hilton’s men did take the lead close to half-time. Sheffield United youngster Spencer Maw did all the hard work with a dash down the right-wing. He crossed and Joe Lumsden volleyed home – with the help of a deflection.
Belper hit back straightaway as Alex Steadman who scored at the back-post from a corner.
The home side got their winner with 20 minutes left when captain Eric Graves fired past David Reay from the edge of the penalty area.
