Revitalised Glasshoughton Welfare have a new striker on their books.
Joint managers Simon Houghton and Craig Wilkinson have signed recently released Grimsby Town striker Kris Fawcett, who arrives highly recommended.
The York-born player lives local to Glasshoughton and arrives at an ideal time for Glasshoughton as they have a few players out injury or suspended.
The managerial duo also need to ensure they have enough players eligible to play in the next round of the League Cup after their surprise reprieve after it was discovered that Pickering played an ineligible player in the last round.
Houghton and Wilkinson hope to make a further signing later this week.
