Garforth Town 2-1 Liversedge
Garforth Town finally claimed their first win of 2016 after coming from behind to beat bottom-placed Liversedge.
Garforth, whose poor form stems back to the beginning of November, have been getting to closer to the elusive win in the last two weeks.
It did not look at Garforth’s night initially as a good move from Liversedge led to Rhys Davies scoring.
Garforth hit back straightaway from an unlikely source with defender Greg Kidd, recently borrowed from Harrogate Railway, volleying home a brilliant volley from a corner,
The Miners found the winner on the hour. George Conway, who has scored several brilliant goals in the last few weeks, turned provider with the killer pass to Danny Harris. The popular wide player then glided round goalkeeper Christian Thewlis to score.
