New Ossett Town striker Danny Frost
Danny Frost has arrived Ossett Town to score the goals to fire them to safety after his protracted move from Ossett Albion was confirmed today.
New Town boss Grant Black had hoped to make Frost his first signing earlier this week, but the formalities, which have been resolved, hit a stumbling block.
Goal-scorer Frost, who briefly played for Ossett in 2011, is best known for his spells with Shaw Lane Aquaforce.
The striker has played for Spennymoor Town and Albion this season.
Black said: “I’ve known Frosty for some time, and once it became clear there was an opportunity of bringing him here I jumped at the chance.
“It took a bit of negotiating with Ossett Albion, as you would expect, now he is here I am delighted to have him on board”.
