Selby, chasing their second straight win under Nigel Emery and Reuben Pearse, went ahead through Chris Jackson.

Gary Collier, who moved to Selby from Knaresborough last week then rattled the crossbar.

Brad Walker equalised for the home side after lifting the ball over the onrushing Selby goalkeeper Ciaran Gibson.

Sam Cook netted Knaresborough’s winner in the second half after heading home George Eustance’s corner.

Worsbrough Bridge remain in deep relegation trouble after being thrashed 7-1 by Westella VIP at Park Road.

The first half was disastrous for Worsbrough, who found themselves 4-0 down at the break after goals from Mike Hewitt, Garry Flounders, Joe McFadyen and Andy Coverdale.

Walden’s side actually led at one point, but goals from Joel Hughes (2), Harrison Blakey (2) and Adam Shaw overpowered Grimsby.
