Harrogate Town manager Simon Weaver
Simon Weaver has been named as manager of the month after a brilliant February for title-chasing Harrogate Town.
Town started the month by beating Stockport County and they went onto win at North Ferriby and Stalybridge Celtic. The icing on the cake was the 5-0 thrashing of FC United of Manchester.
Harrogate are now second, six points behind leaders Solihull Moors with a game-in-hand.
“It’s a good feeling to receive the award and it’s been an enjoyable month results-wise,” Weaver said. “It’s very much a team effort both on the pitch and in the stands and it’s that real unity that we hope will continue to drive the lads on to more positive results.
“We want to be a club on the up so we know we have to be relentless in our efforts until the last ball is kicked.”
