Harrogate Town will play Bradford (Park Avenue) in a repeat of the 2008 County Cup final next month.

There were no question marks over who would get to face Avenue as it was so one-sided Harrogate were four goals to the good after just half-an-hour.

Jack Emmett, Harry Coates, Andy Gascoigne and Tom Platt put Simon Weaver’s men in full control.

Fred Midgeley pulled a goal back for Silsden at the start of the second half, but that did not make a lot of difference.

Jordan Thewlis added the fifth before Dom Knowles scored twice in the final few minutes.

Harrogate will be hoping that the final will be just as straight-forward, like it was in 2008 when they hammered a Dave Cameron-led Avenue 6-0 at Fleet Lane.
