Michael Potts has gone on loan to Shaw Lane Aquaforce
Shaw Lane Aquaforce Craig Elliott concluded a busy deadline day with the loan signing of Michael Potts from Bradford (Park Avenue).
Elliott got the deal done in time before the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup quarter-finals victory over North Gawber. Aquaforce won 2-1 thanks to a double from Gavin Allott.
Midfielder Potts has previously played for Blackburn Rovers, York City, Guiseley, AFC Fylde, Stalybridge Celtic and Avenue. Most of his appearances for York came in the Football League.
Potts is likely to make his Aquaforce bow when they travel to Loughborough Dynamo tomorrow, seeking to keep the pressure on runaway leaders Stafford Rangers.
