Ossett Town made two signings on transfer deadline day yesterday, ahead of the clashes with Scarborough Athletic and New Mills.
Grant Black captured Xander McBurnie on a work experience deal from Bradford City and midfielder Anthony Mackie from Pontefract Collieries. Mackie was until recently playing for Goole.
Ossett remain in trouble in third-bottom position, but the outlook is more positive after the win at New Mills which opened up a five point gap between them and Harrogate Railway.
