Goole are hoping to raise £5,000 for injured goalkeeper Jack Wheat
Goole are hoping to raise £5000 in 30 days to help seriously injured goalkeeper Jack Wheat through the recovery process.
Wheat was involved in a collision just 17 minutes into his debut on 12th March at Market Drayton Town. He has since been diagnosed with a fractured skull, fractured eye socket, broken jaw and compressed cheekbone.
He has been told he will be unable to football ever again and it is likely he will be unable to work for considerable length of time. Just last week, he went underwent surgery in Sheffield on Tuesday 22nd March to have his jaw temporarily wired and plates fitted.
Non League Yorkshire is urging people to back Goole’s appeal which will greatly support Wheat’s recovery.
