Hull United have officially lost 12 points for two serious registration rules breaches after the window of opportunity to appeal the deduction ended.
Hull pleaded guilty to the offence and actually did publicly say they would appealing against the punishment.
The play-offs race is now properly wide open with Penistone Church, Shirebrook Town, Hallam and Knaresborough Town all competing for the final two places.
The future of Hull as an NCEL club remains in doubt as they failed to submit a ground/ground-share tenancy agreement for next season. This matter is expected to be discussed at the league’s upcoming board meeting.
