Steve Brammer rescued a point for Hallam after Ryan Hindley’s men mounted a very comeback at Eccleshill United.

Jermaine Springer and Lee Smith’s first half goals appeared to put Eccleshill on course for victory against Hallam, who have only lost once on the road in the league this season.

Time was rapidly running out Hallam until Michael Blythen dragged them back into it with 15 minutes to go. Substitute Brammer then scored from the penalty spot to equalise.

Destiny remains in Hallam’s hands as they have two games-in-hand on Shirebrook Town.

Promotion race hots up

Bottesford Town moved up second as a late goal secured a 2-1 at Yorkshire Amateur.

Rossington Main lost 3-0 to crisis club Hull United, whose fate should be more clearer this week.

Hall Road Rangers were defeat 6-3 in the goal-fest with Grimsby Borough.

Josh Batty’s late double saw Winterton Rangers home against Teversal in the 3-1 win.
