Penistone can all but secure their play-offs spot on Wednesday after Danny Joynes scored the last gasp winner at Dronfield.

Victory at Eccleshill would mean only Hallam and Knaresborough Town could prevent them finishing in the top six. That would be unlikely though as Hallam and Knaresborough have to play each other. The latter would also be able to get above Penistone on goals-difference.

Penistone’s unbeaten league run now stands at ten games. Just like champions-elect Hemsworth last week, Church had to come from behind to beat Dronfield.

Ollie Fearon cancelled out Lee Anthony’s early goal, but a Sam Bebbington put the home side back in front towards half-time.

Steve Kenworthy levelled it up again for Church on the hour before Joynes made himself the hero.
