Jon Froggatt was the hero for Handsworth Parramore
Jon Froggatt sparked scenes of jubilation after scoring the winner in the last minute to keep Handsworth’s title hopes well and truly alive.
Froggatt struck twice in the dying minutes to rescue Handsworth, who were staring down the barrel of a costly defeat.
That was because of a first half penalty from Maltby striker Lewis Benrose.
Parramore started throwing the proverbial kitchen sink with 20 minutes remaining. The equaliser was forced from Danny Buttle’a corner. A scramble ensued and Froggatt applied the final touch.
Momentum was certainly with Handsworth and the chances kept coming. An outstanding last-ditch block prevented Simon Harrison becoming the hero before Froggatt intervened.
