Brighouse Town have an outside chance of claiming a top half finish going into the final week of the season.

Brighouse had to come from behind to beat Kendal to secure their second straight victory due to Alex Newby’s early goal for Kendal.

The second half saw Brighouse’s spectacular fightback. Young Tom Robinson equalised with an audacious lob. Ernest Boafo then headed a corner.

Robinson sealed the victory six minutes from time after good play from Danny Facey.

Late goal denies Farsley

Farsley battled back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2, but a late Dougie Carroll strike rescued a draw for Mossley.

Two goals from Aiden Savory and a solitary strike from the returning Robbie O’Brien gave Farsley their lead.

Scarborough Athletic went down by a single goal against Lancaster City at Queensgate.

Steve Ridley struck a late consolation for Ossett Town in their 3-1 home defeat to promotion-chasing Glossop North End.

Their neighbours Ossett Albion lost 1-0 at Radcliffe Borough.

Relegated Harrogate Railway had Simon Parkes sent off early on and that helped Trafford on their way to a 5-0 win.
