Stocksbridge will finish the season as a top ten side after their unbeaten run was extended to seven matches.

The Steels had to mount a second half comeback as Eddy Samba gave struggling Loughborough a first half lead.

Once as Adam Hinchliffe shot through a crowd of players, Stocksbridge never looked back. Scott Ruthven placed them in front before Joe Lumsden struck with a tremendous strike.

Ruthven scored again after lobbing Loughborough’s goalkeeper from 45 yards. Rory Coleman added his mandotory goal in the last minute from a free kick.

Stocksbridge Park Steels: D Reay, Meade, Coleman, Gregory, M Reay, McFadyen, Hinchliffe, Biggins, Ruthven, Lumsden, Poulton. Subs: Tootle, Burton, Rhodes.

Sheffield FC 2-1 Goole AFC

Nick Guest scored again for Goole, giving them an early lead, but Sheffield FC hit back to beat Lee Morris’ side.

The veteran Brian Cusworth equalised for Sheffield, unsurprisingly with his head, before Ross Goodwin struck the winner.

Sheffield striker Alec Denton was sent off in the closing minutes after kicking the ball away, earning a second yellow card.
