Shaw Lane Aquaforce striker Gavin Allott
Gavin Allott was the biggest winner from our Yorkshire sides at the Evo Stik League player of the year awards.
The powerful Shaw Lane Aquaforce striker won the player of the season award for Division One South. Allott’s goals have been a key reason for Aquaforce’s challenge to runaway leaders Stafford, who now look set to the win the Division.
He was also Yorkshire’s only representative on the team of the year for Division One South.
There were only two more players from the region that were rewarded for their efforts this season.
Farsley Celtic duo Lewis Nightingale and Aaron Hardy deservedly won a place in the Division One North team of the year.
