Hallam 4-1 Dronfield Town
Michael Blythen scored his second hat-trick in three days as Hallam assured themselves a play-offs spot.
The task was simple for Hallam. A victory would secure a place in the top six and the signs were good after Blythen scored just six minutes into it.
Lee Anthony did quickly equalise for Dronfield, but ultimately Ryan Hindley’s men were too strong for them. Hallam pressed ahead again with youngster Jed Phillips firing home.
Blythen then struck twice in five minutes after the hour to complete his treble and Hallam’s victory.
Hallam: Darwent, Simpson, Bishop, Mullooly, Lowe, Whittaker, Reed, Lipka, Blythen, Brammer, Phillips. Subs: Nolan, Chapell, Bamforth, Pemberton, Mason
