Yorkshire Amateur 2-5 Westella VIP
Westella VIP can nick an eleventh placed finish if they beat local rivals Hall Road Rangers tonight.
An outstanding end to the season has propelled Westella from below mid-table to a brink of the FA Cup spots.
The victory at the Ammers was their sixth straight league win and their first half display secured them it. Mixed in with a Harrison Blakey goal for the Ammers, Westella hit four in 40 minutes through Alex Wood, Joe McFadyen (2) and Chris Spinks.
Eder Ruiz pulled a further goal back for the Ammers before Spinks wrapped Westella’s win up.
Hemsworth Miners Welfare 3-0 Bottesford Town
Hemsworth lifted the Division One trophy in style at a packed MDC Stadium.
Whilst it wasn’t the record attendance, over 350 saw Hemsworth comfortably win with goals from Billy Law (2) and Nash Connolly.
Grimsby Borough 2-3 Penistone Church
A dramatic finish saw Penistone Church scored twice in the last minute to beat Grimsby.
After a relatively quiet game which had seen Jason Flint cancel out Danny Joynes’ 20th minute goal for Penistone.
Luke Fanthorpe thought he had won it for Grimsby in the dying seconds. That was until Brett Lovell equalised and then Lewis Dickinson won it.
Eccleshill United 1-1 Rossington Main
Eccleshill and Rossington saw out their campaigns with a bore draw in Bradford.
Anil Singh gave Eccleshill the lead before Jordan Hatton equalised – all in the first half.
