Scarborough appeared on course to win the cup until a late twist saw the trophy head to Liverpool with Marine instead.
Callum Robinson’s second half strike seemed to be all the Seadogs needed to bring some sun down on a very disappointing campaign.
Robinson scored from former Selby midfielder Jamie Forrester’s cross deep into the second half. The final turned against Scarborough when Dean Lisles was sent off for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.
Marine didn’t equalise straightaway, but they soon did through Warren Bellew, in a very fortunate manner.
Marine struck the winner with basically the last kick of the game through Danny Mitchley.
