Bridlington Town 0-3 Parkgate
Josh Moore single-handedly guided Parkgate to safety with a magnificent hat-trick at Bridlington Town.
Defeat was not an option for Parkgate, who would have been in serious danger had they lost.
Moore eased any nerves with two goals in the opening 24 minutes, one from the penalty spot. He completed his treble and sealed Parkgate’s survival 20 minutes into the second half.
Brigg Town are down after conceding twice in the final two minutes to lose 2-1 at Thackley.
Joint manager Paul Grimes did score a first half penalty to give Brigg hope, but even if they had held-on, it would have been enough to stay up. Tom Dugdale and Liam Hudson scored for Thackley.
Ryan Cooper struck late-on to earn Pickering Town a 2-1 victory at Maltby Main, whose brilliant season ended on a low note.
Cooper had earlier cancelled out Ryan Carroll’s first half opener for Maltby. Pickering still have a game to go as they entertain Rainworth on Tuesday night.
Barton Town Old Boys’ difficult campaign was summed up by Jack Binney’s 85th winner which earned Retford United a 1-0 victory.
Bottom-side Nostell Miners Welfare lost 4-2 to Rainworth Miners Welfare. Fidel Mholo and Billy Mole scored for Nostell.
