Lewis Nightingale has left Farsley to join Darlington 1883

Lewis Nightingale is going to be playing in the National League North for Darlington 1883 after a brilliant campaign for Farsley Celtic.

Nightingale’s deserved move was announced on Monday night, just a few days after he crowned management player of the season and players’ player of the year at Farsley’s awards night.

The midfielder’s form for Farsley this season has been superb and he has regularly attracted interest from other clubs – most notably from Scarborough Athletic and Chorley.

There will be more on Lewis’s move and upcoming charity match on Non League Yorkshire on Tuesday morning.
