Stocksbridge Park Steels brought the curtain down on their brilliant campaign with the annual presentation night.

The Steels almost reached the play-offs, missing out by one place. Their best achievement was getting to the first round of the FA Trophy and beating the holders North Ferriby to get there. They also won the Evo Stik Division One South club of the month award three times – the same number of times Shaw Lane won it.

Young midfielder Harrison Biggins was a worthy recipient of Chris Hilton’s management player of the season trophy. Biggins, the son of former Football League striker Wayne, has been exceptional for the Steels and notably scored from the halfway line earlier this year.

Corey Gregory won the players’ player of the year award, while 21-goal hero Rory Coleman collected the golden boot.

Stocksbridge have already started planning for their pre-season campaign as well. The Steels will play Sheffield United’s first team on July 9th and Sheffield Wednesday under 21s on July 30th.
