Champions Hemsworth Miners Welfare’s historic campaign ended with a memorable end of season awards bash.
Young defender Harry Viggars was the big winner after collecting the supporters’ player of the year and the players’ player of the year award.
Popular striker Billy Law got Wayne Benn’s managers’ player of the season trophy. Law finished as Hemsworth’s top goal-scorer.
Hemsworth will play in the Premier Division for the first time in their history next season after cantering to the Division One title. The Wells also went further than ever before in the FA Vase.
