Billy Heath has left North Ferriby United to take charge of FA Trophy winners FC Halifax Town.
The expected appointment was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon, as was Jim Harvey’s departure.
Heath and his assistant Bobby Carroll leave Ferriby after guiding them to promotion from the National League North – the latest chapter in Ferriby’s most successful period of history.
The former Bridlington, Hall Road Rangers and Frickley boss and his long-term number two are highly regarded after leading them from the Evo Stik Premier Division to the top flight of Non League football. Ferriby also won the FA Trophy under his guidance last year.
Ferriby, who are also up for sale, now face the task of replacing the pair.
