The first brand new AFC Emley signing of the summer is a familiar face to long-standing supporters.

Returning to the Welfare Ground is midfielder Aaron Joseph, who has spent the last two seasons playing for relegated Pontefract Collieries.

He fills the void left by departed captain Michael Tunnacliffe.

Joseph played for Emley for over a year until leaving for Shaw Lane Aquaforce in December 2013. After a change in management at Aquaforce, he moved onto Pontefract where he helped them win promotion last year.

Emley have also announced that they are running their £10 ticket offer for every home league game next season.

It was successfully trialled earlier in the campaign. By paying £10 in advance, it gets you: entry to the game, a programme, a raffle ticket, any hot item from the cafe menu and a hot drink.
