Lee Bennett gave Aquaforce a first half lead in his final game for them
Lee Bennett has left Shaw Lane Aquaforce and joined Martin McIntosh’s Buxton.
Bennett, one of Aquaforce’s star men during their unsuccessful promotion campaign, moves up a Division. His final act was scoring the opener in the play-off final defeat to Coalville Town.
The attacking midfielder has spells with Athersley Rec, Pontefract Collieries, Ossett Albion and Glasshoughton Welfare, among others.
He has also made one Football League appearance from his time with Lincoln City seven years ago.
