Tom Dugdale has won a move to Handsworth Parramore after a brilliant season for Thackley.

The former Farsley winger scored 23 times from midfielder for Thackley and was by far their stand-out player. He was named in Non League Yorkshire’s NCEL Premier Division team of the year.

Mick Godber said: “Tom is a wide man who has impressed us greatly in the times he played against us and when we had him watched, he has great delivery from open play and set pieces and a eye for goal. His signing gives us extra competition in wide areas.”

Tom is no stranger to Sheffield having spent a number of years on the books of Sheffield Wednesday where he was team mates with Archie Sneath and Richard Tootle.

Club Development Manager Steve Holmes added” “I’ve know ‘Duggi’ (Tom) for a number of years (following his time at SWFC) and I’ve kept in contact with him and kept a close eye on his progress.

“I’m delighted that Mick has brought Tom into the club, he’s a talented young man and at 23 is at the right age to take a step up in his development. We’ve got a fantastic exciting talent on our hands.”
