Richard Marshall has signed for Farsley Celtic

Bradford (Park Avenue) striker Richard Marshall has become the second new face through the door at Farsley Celtic this week.

The promotion-chasing side made their initial statement of intent with the capture of James Walshaw on Tuesday night.

Marshall is another attacking threat, with great pedigree from stints with Harrogate Railway, FC Halifax Town and Avenue.

“My hopes are to gain promotion – nothing more, nothing less. I’ve come to the club to help them succeed,” Marshall said.

“My personal targets are to help the team with my all round play and my goal-scoring. I also want to pass on my experience and knowledge to make sure we gain promotion.

“Everything is there ready for Farsley to move up the leagues and it’s a case of I knew I would be involved with a strong group of players to push to achieve that.”
