Former Barton Town Old Boys and Athersley Rec stopper Richard Watson is set to be Nostell Miners Welfare’s new goalkeeper.
Watson, who has also played for Pontefract Collieries and Hall Road Rangers, is the ninth player to commit to Nostell since the appointment of ex-Garforth Town and Ossett Town chief Graham Nicholas.
Already through the door are Joel Dixon, Tom Rose, Fidel Mhlolo, Steve Smith, Jordan Lodge, Ryan Mottley-Henry, Tom Smith and Jamie Austin.
With Watson, Nostell will hope for more luck than last season with goalkeepers having gone through a few.
