Defender Danny Hone, the man who scored the goal to send North Ferriby up, has joined Billy Heath at FC Halifax Town.

Promotion hero Hone is the fifth player to leave Ferriby for Halifax in the last month. Goalkeeper Tom Nicholson, Josh Wilde, Liam King and Tom Denton are the others.

Heath has been busy in the past few days as he has also signed Jordan Sinnott, the son of former Farsley Celtic manager Lee Sinnott.

From the squad that was relegated from the National League Premier, Kevin Roberts and Richard Peniket have signed new contracts.

New Bradford (Park Avenue) head coach Alex Meechan has made his first signing. Chris Sharp, a striker has makes the move from Marine.

The 30-year-old has previously featured for Telford, Stockport County, Lincoln City and TNS.

Sharp is believed to be only the third player currently on Avenue’s books. There has been a mass exodus from Horsfall Stadium and only defender Ryan Qualter and midfielder Luke Dean remain from last season.
