Maltby Main has chosen Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice as its charity for this season, with Bluebell Wood’s logo now taking pride of place on its home and away kits.

Some of the team recently completed the 10-12 mile mud and obstacle race Tough Mudder as the first of several fundraising events the players are planning to take part in over the season.

Joint manager Spencer Fearn said: “We’re all huge admirers of the work that Bluebell Wood does and we agreed unanimously as a club that we should help to increase its profile by including the logo on the kits. We are delighted to be involved with a charity that does so much for children, young adults and families facing the toughest of times.”

Rachael Dawes, Corporate Fundraising Manager, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice said: “We’re really pleased to see Bluebell Wood featured on the Maltby Main kit and the impressive efforts of the team in raising £3,000 at the Tough Mudder.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to LifeSkills for becoming members of our 365 business club and for all their amazing fundraising to date. Every penny raised helps us to create special memories for all the children and families we support in South Yorkshire and beyond.”
