Hall Road Rangers manager Dave Ricardo has pulled off an amazing coup after persuading Barton Town Old Boys striker Scott Phillips to join the Haworth Park-based club.
Phillips has been a prolific striker at NCEL Premier Division for quite a few years for Bridlington and Barton. He has always been a target for other clubs.
His capture will raise hopes that Hall Road can have a good opening season under Ricardo.
The Hall Road chief has also signed Alex Sherwood and Ash Dexter from Barton.
That’s on top of getting Jamie Reeson and Mike Walsh to re-sign for them.
