Sean Regan admits that his Eccleshill United attack is even more scary after the return of prodigal son Marcus Edwards.
His latest comeback will put fear into Division One defences because of his tally of over 100 goals for Eccleshill over three stints in the last five years. He is one of their greatest forwards because of his winning last minute penalty in the shock victory over Harrogate Town in the 2014 West Riding County Cup final.
Edwards joins a strike-force that already has Luke Harrop and Adam Turner, the duo who scored 41 times between them last season.
Regan told Non League Yorkshire: “Marcus is a massive signing because he scores you a lot of goals.
“He has a reputation and he has scored in higher leagues so there is no doubt that he is going to be a big signing for Eccleshill.
“We now have Marcus, Luke and Adam along with Alex Cusack and a couple of other lads who can do a job upfront.
“If I’m being honest it (our attack) was scary last year as we scored a lot of goals. It was really effective and it is going even more effective this year.”
Edwards is one of four players who have moved across Bradford from Premier Division side Albion Sports.
Long-serving attacker Alex Cusack and defenders Sam Bradley and Matt Mathers make up the four.
Regan has plans to bring further new signings into his squad.
