Shaw Lane AFC defender Rhys Meynell has moved to Frickley Athletic
Frickley Athletic have snapped up experienced Shaw Lane AFC defender Rhys Meynell.
Meynell was a rock at the back for Shaw Lane and a key reason why they pushed runaway leaders Stafford Rangers to the final day.
He has an excellent CV which has spells with Stalybridge Celtic, Guiseley and Harrogate Town on it.
Meynell is one of three new signings at Frickley – the others being former Harrogate Railway and Ossett Town striker Nathan Curtis and Nathan Valentine from Radcliffe Borough.
Frickley have also retained Sam Akeroyd, Jameel Ible, Bailey Good and Macualey Parkinson.
