Evo Stik Division One North
Paul Quinn has signed a one-year contract with Brighouse Town as he prepares to head into his sixth season in charge.
It is the first time that Quinn has had a contract with Brighouse. No-one can dispute he deserves one either. Brighouse won the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division under his guidance in 2014 and he has since established them as a Evo Stik side.
Quinn, who is only 32, said: ”It’s exciting times for the club in general, we are working behind the scenes to add to the squad and we are aiming to finalise some deals over the next couple of weeks and in the run up to the start of the new season.
“Things are progressing off the field and we are set for a very interesting season. We have the nucleus of a very good squad and with recent developments we are now in a position to strengthen further.”
Acting chairman Charles Tolley said: “Paul is an ambitious young manager who has led this club to its highest ever league position. Paul is integral to our ambitions as a club and this will be one of several announcements in terms of recruitment and retention that we will be making.
“We are in a highly competitive league and we want to keep progressing as a club. We have to ensure the ambitions of those involved at playing and coaching level are matched off the field, after stabilising our status at this level we are now in a stronger financial position to push forward on and off the field.”
Well deserved, Good luck Paul
