Young midfielder Sam Fewkes is the first brand new signing at Stocksbridge Park Steels this summer.
Chris Hilton confirmed the capture of Fewkes yesterday. Sheffield-based Fewkes recently finished a two-year scholar deal with the National League Premier outfit.
With less than a week to go until the high profile of the Sheffield United first team to Bracken Moor, it is looking really positive for the Steels.
All but one of last season’s team which flirted with the play-offs is staying at the club. That is Rory Coleman who has moved onto Ilkeston FC.
