It is deja-vu for Stocksbridge Park Steels as they start their FA Trophy campaign at Clitheroe for the second year running.
Clitheroe was the first port of call during Stocksbridge’s unbelievable run last season when they beat Clitheroe, Northwich Victoria, Ilkeston, holders North Ferriby before bowing out at Gateshead.
The Steels were never drawn at home either, a theme that has continued. Stocksbridge won at Clitheroe, despite the sending off of midfielder Richard Patterson.
In another plum, Steve Kittrick will take Scarborough Athletic to Shaw Lane AFC.
