Craig Parry says Pontefract Collieries want one more new face after an extremely productive summer at Beechnut Lane.

The Colls manager and his assistants Craig Rouse and Luke Jeffs have rebuilt the side that was relegated from the Premier Division last season.

Over ten new signings have arrived and Parry is delighted with the way the summer has gone for the Colls.

“We want one more to add to the squad and then we’re shutting shop and as we’re really happy with the squad,” he told Non League Yorkshire.

“We outlived our targets even before the season ended and we have gone out and tried to get them in early doors.

“We were successful in that and we have been working together as a squad for over a month now.

“We’re training three times a week and everyone is attending because we’re getting 22 lads there every time. It is a different side, different set-up to last season.”

Pontefract are at home again on Saturday with Evo Stik Division One North side Goole AFC the visitors.
