Reuben Jerome got a hat-trick as AFC Emley decapitated ambitious local side Shelley in a 6-0 victory for Darren Hepworth’s men.

Jerome scored all his goals in the first half, alongside a double from Ash Flynn.

The sixth goal came midway through the second half with Craig Billington getting it.

Garforth Town were beaten 1-0 at York Premier League outfit Church Fenton.

Although the likes of Mark Simpson and Tim Robertson featured, there were a lot of trialists in Garforth’s side.

Former Leeds United midfielder Simon Walton, who turned out 37 times for League Two Crawley Town last season, played the whole of the second half for Garforth.

Nearly 400 people watched Frickley Athletic beat a Barnsley X1 at Westfield Lane.

Luke Hinsley’s stunning first half strike from 30 yards was enough for Frickley.

Tadcaster Albion won 4-3 at Pickering Town. Calum Ward placed Pickering in front before Tadcaster fought back through Andy Milne.

A trialist then gave Tadcaster the lead. Adam Baker extended that advantage which was reduced by Ben Hirst. Baker scored again in the final few minutes, prior to Hirst grabbing his second and Pickering’s third.

Former Garforth goalkeeper Ben Hunter was between the sticks for Tadcaster.
